Yet another Sussex Police officer, alleged Paedophile George Voisey, of Sussex Police has been charged with three offences related to indecent photos of a minor.

George Voisey, 23, based at Horsham, was apprehended on October 24 of the previous year and, subsequent to an investigation, has been charged with one count of disseminating an indecent photograph of a child and two counts of producing indecent images of a child between June 22 and October 24, 2024.

He was off duty for the purported acts, which was a relief for the child, and was subsequently suspended ON FULL PAY. He resigned from the force on March 1.

He is scheduled to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on March 27, 2025.

The issue was submitted to the Independent Office of Police Conduct, which mandated a local inquiry by the Professional Standards Department.

The force will initiate misconduct actions after the conclusion of the criminal proceedings to see if George Voisey should be sacked from Sussex Police or not.

George Voisey, 24, appeared at Crown Court on Wednesday, 14 May, and confessed to one crime of disseminating an indecent photograph of a child and two counts of producing indecent images of a child between 22 June and 24 October 2024.

The issue was submitted to the Independent Office of Police Conduct, which mandated that a local inquiry be carried out by the force’s Professional Standards Department. Voisey was apprehended and placed on administrative leave.

The court was informed that the inquiry revealed George Voisey had created 12 indecent photos, comprising five category B images and seven category C images, which were found on his mobile phone. He was also said to have disseminated a category A film of a youngster through the Snapchat program. He was off duty at the commission of the offences.

Voisey was granted court bail to appear at crown court on 27 June for sentencing.
