Eastbourne Paedophile Graham Baillie, 54, jobless, residing on Willingdon Rd, Eastbourne, appeared at Hove Crown Court on Friday, January 29, and pleaded guilty to the creation of 249 indecent photographs of minors.
Graham Baillie received a 12-month prison sentence, was designated a registered sexual offender for ten years, and was issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) for ten years, significantly limiting his access to computers.
The prosecution stemmed from an intelligence-driven inquiry conducted by the Paedophile On-Line Investigation Unit (POLIT) of Sussex Police.
None of the photographs were deemed to depict local children (odd thing for the police to be proud of?!), and there was no evidence of any ‘contact’ offences.
