Graham Digby-Rogers paedophile rapist child sex offender - Thornbury

The court heard that a biology teacher, Graham Digby-Rogers, the Thornbury paedophile, who had previously been employed at a school in north Bristol, engaged in clandestine lunchtime meetings during which he kissed and grabbed young female students. After several decades, at the age of 86, he has been incarcerated.

Graham Digby-Rogers was accused of committing offences in February of the previous year, as stated in the proceedings of Bristol Crown Court. Instead of undergoing a trial, Digby-Rogers, residing at Stokefield Close in Thornbury, admitted his guilt in indecently abusing three girls who were 13 years old or younger.

He was sentenced to a term of six years and four months by Judge Euan Ambrose. He informed the retiree: “Your transgressions will have substantially influenced each of them. It is widely believed that serving a prison sentence will be more challenging for an older individual than a younger person, and I acknowledge and agree with this notion.

Graham Digby-Rogers was instructed to register himself on the sex offender’s registry for an unlimited period. He should be granted parole halfway through his prison sentence.

According to James Tucker, the prosecutor, Graham Digby-Rogers placed a young person on a desk, caressed her hand, and kissed her on the mouth. During his testimony, Mr Tucker stated that the defendant and the woman’s acquaintance would come to the office during lunchtime.

In court, it was revealed that Graham Digby-Rogers made physical contact with one of the girl’s genitals, an act that she described as “disgusting”. Additionally, he pressed his private parts against hers.

According to Mr Tucker, Graham Digby-Rogers engaged in sexual abuse with a third girl by rubbing himself against her and performing a sexual act on her thigh. According to the court, the boy was left terrified as a result of the maltreatment.

Robert Morgan-Jones, the defence attorney, stated that his client is actively acknowledging and grappling with the wrongdoing as documented in the pre-sentence report. The three victims’ lives will have been significantly impacted, and I do not propose any alternative suggestions.
