Gregory Witham Blackpool paedophile

Gregory Witham, who made multiple attempts to sexually assault a minor, was apprehended after she inscribed “I want to die” on a school computer.

The paedophile, Gregory Witham, repeatedly assaulted his young victim, resulting in “severe psychological harm.”

She commenced self-harming due to the abuse, which was observed by educators.

However, the perpetrator denied any misconduct and compelled the child to undergo a trial, during which he attributed blame to her for the incident.

Gregory Witham was convicted of two charges of attempted rape, which the judge indicated represented “repeated attempts” to assault his victim.

He was convicted of eight counts of sexual conduct with a child, comprising four counts of repeatedly touching the girl’s genitalia beneath her clothing, and one case of inciting a child to participate in sexual activity, which involved an attempt to get her to perform a sexual act on him.

Gregory Witham, 39, previously of Walton and currently residing on Manor Road, Blackpool, was sentenced to 16 years in prison with an additional one-year extended licence.
