Having raped a lady in Ipswich more than five years ago, a 43-year-old man, Hamza Badat Ipswich Paedophile, has been imprisoned.
Previously of Levington Road in Ipswich, Hamza Badat appeared at Ipswich Crown Court today, Friday, 10 May, where he was sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment after being found guilty of rape last month following a five-day trial.
October 25, 2018, was the offence date. At the time, the victim, 22 years old, had gone to the house of a familiar friend with others, where she had run across Hamza Badat. Later, he hauled the woman into a bedroom and sexually assaulted her.
Before the incident day, the victim and Hamza Badat had no known relationship. Hamza Badat was also directed to sign the sex offenders register permanently.
