A Glasgow Paedophile, Hayden Fell, who inflicted sexual attacks on two young boys for eight years has been sentenced to six years in prison.
Hayden Fell, 30, perpetrated abuse against two children at locations in Glasgow from February 2006 to February 2014.
The High Court in Edinburgh was informed that Hayden Fell’s initial victim was merely nine years old when Fell began to use him. He perpetrated sexual assaults and rapes against him until he reached the age of 16.
Hayden Fell also perpetrated sexual assaults and rapes against another youngster, commencing when the victim was merely five years old and persisting until he reached the age of eleven.
Hayden Fell, also from Glasgow, was found guilty of rape and charges of indecent and libidinous behaviour during a trial at the High Court last month.
Judge Lady Hood deferred the sentence to obtain a report about the first offender’s background.
On Monday, Hayden Fell appeared at the High Court in Edinburgh. Defence advocate Gillian Ross KC told the court that her client still maintained he was innocent of any wrongdoing.
She added: “However, he still respects the verdict of the jury, and he accepts that there can only be one disposal in this case.”
Passing sentence, Lady Hood told Hayden Fell that he had to go to prison for his crimes.
She added: “The offences to which you have been found guilty are so serious that given the nature of them, the only way of dealing with you is to impose a custodial sentence.”
Hayden Fell was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
