The Thamesmead Sex Offender, Hayley Jones, 34, served as a prison workshop officer at the high-security facility in Thamesmead when CCTV evidence documented her engaging in intimate behaviour with Jordan McSweeney, who was incarcerated for the heinous sexual assault and murder of 35-year-old Zara Aleena in Ilford.
Video evidence also depicted the duo exiting rooms devoid of CCTV surveillance while readjusting their attire.
In a letter which was intercepted by guards, Jordan McSweeney told another prisoner that he had been “f***ing the fat thing from the workshop” for 10 months.
He also claimed she had been providing him with contraband such as a phone, “man was living good” McSweeney wrote.
Hayley Jones admitted kissing and touching took place between her and Jordan McSweeney but denies having sex with him or providing him with contraband.
She was jailed for nine months.
