A Metropolitan Police Constable Paedophile, Hussain Chehab, has been sentenced to five years in prison for a series of child sexual offences.

PC Hussain Chehab, 22, has previously confessed to multiple charges, including engaging in sexual conduct with a female aged 13 to 15 and producing indecent photos of a minor.

Hussain Chehab perpetrated several offences while employed as a Safer Schools Officer (SSO) at a secondary school in Enfield.

Detective Chief Superintendent Caroline Haines stated that PC Hussain Chehab, who was jailed at Wood Green Crown Court on Friday, had “committed the most heinous of offences.”

On 24 January, he admitted guilt to four charges of engaging in sexual behaviour with a girl aged 13 to 15, three charges of producing indecent images of a minor, and one charge of sexual communication with a minor.

The Metropolitan Police stated that no proof has been discovered connecting PC Hussain Chehab’s misconduct to his position apart from hm being a policeman when he carried out the horrific child abuse.

The PC Hussain Chehab functioned as a Safer Schools Officer in a secondary school from May to August 2021.

Alongside the incarceration, he was subjected to a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and a 10-year restraining order.

The Met conducted an expedited misconduct hearing on 9 March, resulting in his immediate dismissal from the force.

Detective Chief Superintendent Haines, the lead for policing in Enfield, stated that PC Hussain Chehab had “exploited his position of trust in the most reprehensible manner” and that it was “appropriate” for him to have been “formally dismissed”.

“We are dedicated to eliminating officers unfit for our ranks, and it is unequivocally evident that PC Chehab is unsuitable for the Met.”

PC Hussain Chehab was dismissed from his position as an SSO immediately upon the emergence of allegations against him.

PC Hussain Chehab will be included in the Barred List maintained by the College of Policing.
