Police have released CCTV footage of a guy they want to talk with after a lady was seriously sexually assaulted.

In Hyde, Greater Manchester, a man approached the woman from behind and forced her to the ground before sexually assaulting her.

It happened as she walked passed Grafton Street, off Clark Way, approximately 6.40 a.m. on Friday, July 5.

Greater Manchester Police has released three pictures of a man they believe “may have information that could assist investigations.”

The incident occurred at Grafton Street in Hyde, Greater Manchester.

Officers want to know anyone was in the area at 6.30 a.m., including Clark Way, Grafton Street, King Street, the footbridge, and the nearby bus station.

They are also requesting anyone with relevant doorbell, dashcam, or CCTV footage from the time of the event to contact them.

It claims that “in-depth CCTV and witness enquiries remain ongoing to find out what has happened and bring anyone responsible to justice” .

Police claimed a man approached the woman from behind along Clark Way.

Detective Inspector Andrew Day from our Tameside area stated, “We take reports of sexual offences very seriously, and since the report was made, we have conducted extensive and thorough investigations.” The woman continues to be assisted by specially trained officers.

“It is entirely unethical to target someone in this fashion, and we are working tirelessly to locate anyone who may recognise the individual portrayed.

“If you recognise him, or if you were in the vicinity yesterday morning around the time of the event and spotted someone wearing the similar outfit, please contact us. We want to speak with anyone who may have witnessed something; it’s not too late to come forward.

“Similarly, if you live or work near Clark Way, Grafton Street, or King Street and have any CCTV, doorbell, dashcam, or smartphone film from that morning, please contact us so that we may continue to piece together the facts of this occurrence.

“Please contact us, as your assistance could be extremely beneficial.” “No matter how big or small it appears, all information is extremely beneficial.”
