Issoop Naguib Lootfun sex offender

A care worker rapist, Issoop Naguib Lootfun, has been sentenced to imprisonment for engaging in sexual activity without the consent of a vulnerable young disabled woman in a Maidstone care home.

Law enforcement was summoned following the discovery of a condom wrapper in the woman’s chamber on the morning of May 8, 2024.

Issoop Naguib Lootfun, 69, a care worker at the facility, initially asserted that it had slipped from his pocket and refuted any sexual engagement with the woman. He was promptly suspended from the care facility.

Investigations of the refuse containers at the care facility uncovered two used condoms containing DNA that matched both Issoop Naguib Lootfun and the victim. Semen stains matching his DNA profile were also discovered in her chamber.

On 9 October 2024, Issoop Naguib Lootfun received a sentence of 11 years imprisonment at Maidstone Crown Court, along with a further four years on extended licence.

Daniel Harrison from the Crown Prosecution Service South East said: “This was an utterly sickening and horrendous case involving someone that the victim trusted, who abused that trust in the most appalling way.

“The victim was unable to consent to sexual activity in any way because of her disabilities. Issoop Naguib Lootfun was fully aware of this, having worked at the home for some time and looked after her.

“Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of this case is the significant planning that went into it and the way that Issoop Naguib Lootfun attempted to cover up his crime, carefully disposing of the used condom within plastic gloves in the waste.

“Confronted by the weight of evidence in this case, Issoop Naguib Lootfun was left with no option but to plead guilty to the charges against him.”
