A Southampton Paedophile Jack McRae has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for raping a lady in her residence and thereafter holding her captive for many days.

Jack McRae, 29, received a sentence from Judge Peter Henry, who characterised him as one of the most perilous defendants to have ever come before him.

Jack McRae, from Golden Grove, Southampton, persistently disparaged the judge and was returned to the holding cells midway through the sentence procedure.

He has prior convictions for multiple offences against the same victim, including rape, false imprisonment, and criminal damage. Jack McRae was additionally convicted of assaulting another woman.

The crimes against the initial victim occurred at a location in the Southampton region in 2020.

Her victim impact statement, presented to the court by prosecutor Robert Brown, indicated that she had relocated due to feeling unsafe in her residence. She was diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and experienced acute depression.

Mr. Brown said the court: “I am not cognisant of any mitigating factors that can be presented on behalf of Mr. Jack McRae.” There is an absence of remorse.

The other woman additionally provided a victim impact statement to the court.

She stated, “The incident genuinely instilled a fear for my life.” He continued to strike me repeatedly. I believed he intended to murder me.

Jack McRae, who lacked legal representation, received a prolonged term for rape at Bullingdon Prison: 14 years of incarceration followed by eight years on licence.

He received different correctional sentences for the additional charges, including three years for wrongful imprisonment, all of which will be served consecutively. He received a concurrent two-year sentence for attacking the other woman.

Mr. Brown stated that Jack McRae possessed multiple prior convictions, encompassing robbery, violence, and grievous bodily injury.
