A child molester, Jacob Thanuharan Croydon Paedophile, sexually molested children as young as four during private tutoring sessions at his residence.

Jacob Thanuharan, 51, of Cecil Road, Croydon, has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for sexual assaults on four youngsters.

The sexual assaults by Jacob Thanuharan occurred from 2000 to 2015, during which the victims were aged four to fifteen years.

Three of the four victims were sexually attacked while attending his residence for individual tutoring.

Jacob Thanuharan denied the offences, but at trial, a jury found him guilty of eight counts of sexual assault.

Last month at Croydon Crown Court, he was jailed and made the subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).

Detective Sergeant Vicki Thomson, from the public protection team which covers Croydon, said: “These women have shown extreme bravery by coming forward to police and giving evidence in court.

“Thanks to their courage, Jacob Thanuharan is behind bars and unable to continue his predatory offending.

“We would encourage anyone subject to sexual assault to come forward and speak to police. No matter how much time has passed, you will be listened to and supported by our specialist officers.”
