James Knowles, THE Stockbridge Village paedophile, who sexually assaulted a little girl on a weekly basis, was informed that he will likely die in prison.

A terminally ill 78-year-old, James Knowles, committed “depraved sexual acts” on a “extremely young child” some decades prior.

She initially approached the police in the 1990s, but was informed by the police that “there was nothing they could do, as it occurred years prior.”

Nevertheless, the woman summoned the fortitude to re-emerge in 2018, resulting in her abuser receiving a 25-year prison sentence with an additional year on licence.

Judge David Aubrey, QC, informed James Knowles that “your nefarious history has now ensnared you,” asserting: “You are likely to perish in incarceration.”

James Knowles, residing on Amber Way in Stockbridge Village, maltreated the youngster during the ages of five to ten.

James Knowles refuted any misconduct, yet was convicted following a trial on six charges of rape and three charges of indecent assault.
