A Glenrothes Paedophile from Fife, James Ross, blindfolded an eight-year-old girl for a tasting game that escalated into a sexual assault.
James Ross feigned that it would be innocuous amusement with the girl attempting to identify household things without visual aid.
He escorted her to a bedroom, extinguished the lights, affixed a blindfold on her, and initiated a disturbing guessing game entitled “touch it and taste it.”
During the game, James Ross exposed his genitalia, asserting it was a banana.
James Ross, 42, of Lilac Path, Glenrothes, was convicted following a trial at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court last month and returned for sentencing this week.
The sheriff incarcerated James Ross for 15 months and placed him on the sex offenders registry for a duration of 10 years.
