A Bucks paedophile Jason Keane has been imprisoned for molesting a little child while she was asleep.
Jason Keane, 52, assaulted his victim while she was asleep between August and September 2020.
After a four-day trial at Aylesbury Crown Court, he was unanimously convicted of two counts of sexually abusing a minor under the age of 13 through penetration.
Jason Keane, who has no permanent residence, was convicted on March 6 and sentenced to eight years and six months in incarceration.
He will serve a minimum of five years prior to being eligible for parole, with the remainder of his sentence on conditional licence.
Jason Keane is also under a restraining order and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Jason Keane participated in a voluntary interview on August 16, 2021, and was subsequently charged through postal requisition on March 27, 2024.
The attack occurred in Milton Keynes.
Detective Constable Michele Weston of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit stated, “I am exceedingly satisfied with the sentence imposed on Keane.”
I hold the victim, a remarkably courageous girl, in the highest regard for her bravery in reporting the incident to the authorities.
“She is genuinely an inspiration, and I hope that in due course she can move past all of this.”
