An Eastbourne paedophile John Hooper, was incarcerated for sexually assaulting a little girl over 17 years ago.
John Hooper, 71, of Eastbourne, sexually assaulted the child when she was at eight years old between 2000 and 2001.
John Hooper, residing at Upperton Gardens, received a 12-year prison sentence, along with a further four years to be served on extended licence.

John Hooper had connections to Bridport in the 1970s and 1980s, and other victims may not have yet come forward.

John Hooper became acquainted with this susceptible young girl through acquaintances, and unbeknownst to others, he methodically exploited her in secrecy for his personal sexual enjoyment.
