An NHS specialist Wootton Sex Offender, John Ochai, employed at St Mary’s Hospital on the Isle of Wight, who faced allegations of several sexual assaults, has been acquitted by a crown court jury.

John Ochai, residing on Church Road in Wootton, appeared at the IW Crown Court for the conclusion and verdict of his trial on September 20.

The 71-year-old has pleaded not guilty to five charges, as previously reported by the County Press.

Mr. John Ochai faced allegations of four counts of sexual assault against a female and inducing a female to participate in non-penetrative sexual behaviour.

All of the claims against Mr John Ochai were alleged to have occurred within St Mary’s Hospital on June 8, 2016, and August 28 and 29, 2019.

Mr John Ochai, who has a 40-year career in the medical profession, was found not guilty on all counts.

According to The British Association of Urological Surgeons, Mr John Ochai has since retired.
