John Smith utilised Snapchat to manipulate a young adolescent male before to perpetrating abuse on him.

The paedophile, John Smith, once a junior football coach, was incarcerated in 2019 for utilising Snapchat to transmit images of his genitalia to minors.

The 24-year-old from Speke returned to court after utilising the app once more to target a child, subsequently grooming and assaulting him.

John Smith was previously convicted in March 2019 for engaging in sexual communication with three boys, resulting in an 18-month imprisonment and a mandate to comply with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), which he violated by perpetrating the new charges.

The individual, previously residing on School Way, confessed to four charges: engaging in sexual conduct with a minor, meeting a minor after sexual grooming, communicating sexually with a minor, and violating a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).

John Smith was incarcerated for four and a half years, followed by an additional three years on licence.
