After a conviction for sexual conduct with a child, John Whitmore HMP Bullingdon Paedophile has been imprisoned. In a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court on Thursday, 16 May, John Whitmore, 34, of HMP Bullingdon, admitted one count of sexual activity with a child, obstructing or resisting a constable, driving a vehicle without a licence and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

Later on, he received a one-year jail sentence overall. Additionally, he was granted a restraining order for five years.

John Whitmore, at least eighteen visited or spoke with a sixteen-year-old girl between January 1, 2022, and January 10, 2022; she did not reasonably believe she was over sixteen.

While the victim travelled to meet him, he made plans to see her and purposefully met her.

John Whitmore was determined to have intended to engage in sexual grooming either at or following the conference.

John Whitmore was driving on London Road, High Wycombe, on January 10, 2024, without a current driving licence or insurance.

He was arrested after objecting to a constable carrying out his duties.

John Whitmore was charged on January 16, 2024, with the charges.

Examining officer Detective Constable Hannah Csumrik said: “John Whitmore made repeated concerted attempts to engage in unlawful activity with a youngster, who he knew was under the age of 16.

“He kept in constant contact with her and made frequent visits; our research made it very evident that John Whitmore was sexually grooming a child.
