After an investigation by Thames Valley Police, Jonathan Lloyd, a Hainford Paedophile, has been found guilty of three sexual offences, including two charges of rape in Milton Keynes.
Jonathan Lloyd, 47, of Newton Road, Hainford, Norwich, was convicted by a unanimous jury of two counts of male rape and one act of sexual assault by touching after a nine-day trial at Reading Crown Court.
In October 2004, Jonathan Lloyd sexually assaulted his victim, who was a minor at the time. Several years later, Lloyd perpetrated an additional crime of sexual assault by touching between 2011 and 2012 against the same victim, who was then in his twenties.
The victim showed courage in reporting these offences to Thames Valley Police in 2020, and following a lengthy and thorough investigation, Jonathan Lloyd was charged with the crimes on 28 April 2022.
Jonathan Lloyd was found guilty of all three counts at Reading Crown Court on Thursday (19/9) and was remanded in custody for sentencing on 5 December at the same court.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Hollie Cromarty of Milton Keynes CID said: “Jonathan Lloyd targeted his victim in this case and carried out horrific sexual attacks on him.
“It took the victim a very long time to come to terms with what Jonathan Lloyd did to him, and I commend his bravery in having the courage to report this to the police.
“I am pleased that the jury unanimously convicted Lloyd of these vile offences, and Jonathan Lloyd will be sentenced in due course.
“We are dedicated to investigating sexual crimes, and no matter what the passage of time, we will always listen to victims and seek to bring offenders to justice.
“Jonathan Lloyd would have felt he had got away with these crimes, but thanks to the victim’s bravery, we have brought him to account for his actions.”
