A Salford Paedophile, Jordan Morgan, who seduced and raped an 11-year-old girl in the woods has been imprisoned. Using the Snapchat username ‘jayjaydizzy’ Jordan Morgan, 29, began chatting with the victim, claiming her he was 15.
Despite the fact that she was only 11 years old, Jordan Morgan planned to meet her in Preston on May 14, this year. He then brought her to the woods near Banbury Drive and raped her.
Jordan Morgan was discovered through mobile phone and social media searches and arrested at his Salford home. CCTV footage and items collected from Jordan Morgan’s home identified him as the suspect, and his DNA was detected on an apple juice bottle discovered in the woods.
Jordan Morgan pleaded guilty to both charges and was sentenced to ten years in prison when he appeared in Preston Crown Court last week. He was issued a Sexual Harm Prevention order, which prohibits him from having unsupervised contact with any kid under the age of 16, and he was required to sign the Sex Offenders Register for the rest of his life.
Preston Police PC Koryann Stevens said: “Jordan Morgan was immediately identified and detained thanks to the dedicated work of officers who used all of the equipment at their disposal. He certainly poses a significant risk to children due to his warped sexual desires and intentional and planned actions.
“He lied to the victim in this case as part of his grooming strategy, with the eventual goal of committing a violent sexual assault on her. This is clearly an offence that has had a significant impact on the young girl and her family, and they are both still being helped by specially trained officers.
“If you have any worries about your child, whether they have changed their behaviour or began hanging out with older individuals, I strongly advise you to contact the police. We will always conduct proper investigations and protect their safety.”
