A policeman, Joseph Moore, from the City of London Police has been formally accused of committing sexual assault.
The City of London Police released a statement this morning about the arrest of Constable Joseph Moore earlier this year.
Following his apprehension, he was promptly placed under suspension.
Carly Humphreys, Detective Superintendent and leader of the professional standards section at the City of London Police has announced that Joseph Moore, a currently employed City of London Police Constable aged 36 and residing in Hertfordshire, has been formally accused of committing sexual assault through physical contact.
Joseph Moore was apprehended by the Hertfordshire Constabulary on February 20, 2024, concerning an event that occurred while he was not on duty.
Joseph Moore was promptly suspended after his detention.
