KFC employee Joseph Puravady touched a co-worker’s breasts and subsequently accused her of racism when she reported his sexual assault.
The 59-year-old, Joseph Puravady, pursued the woman to a staff area, where he anticipated her solitude, in a “predatory” assault.
The married father subsequently had his adult daughter send a text to the victim, expressing an apology and requesting her forgiveness.
However, the sex offender, Joseph Puravady, from Clearwater Close, Kensington, subsequently refuted any misconduct and alleged that the woman exhibited racism when testifying in the trial.
Despite being convicted of sexual assault by a jury, he lamented that she was a “bully” who harboured a “grudge” against him.
Joseph Puravady was incarcerated for eight months.
