Woolhampton Paedophile Joshua Redding, 24, of Bath Road, was sentenced to 18 months in jail, suspended for two years, for child sex offences and other sex offences today (9/8) at Reading Crown Court.
Joshua Redding was also directed to pay a £150 victim cost, complete 120 hours of unpaid labour, forfeit/destruction of a computer tower seized and a mobile phone confiscated.
Also granted a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order was he.
He had entered a guilty plea to three charges of creating an indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph of a kid and one count each of trying to see or look at an image of sexual conduct for a 13 to 15-year-old juvenile.
He also admitted engaging in sexual communication with a child, possession of an extreme pornographic image or images portraying an act of intercourse/oral sex with a dead or alive animal, possession of an extreme pornographic image or images portraying an act likely to result in serious injury to person’s private parts and possession of a banned image of a child at the same court on 29 May this year.
Joshua Redding was discovered in possession of two illegal pictures of youngsters on November 12, 2020.
Joshua Redding created obscene photographs of children, mostly nine Category A images, the worst type, four Category B images and two Category C images on June 4, 2021.
On June 4, 2021, he also possessed an extreme pornographic photograph showing someone having sex with a dog.
Joshua Redding owned an extreme pornographic image on June 4, 2022, depicting an act that either directly resulted in or most likely would have seriously injured a person’s private parts.
Joshua Redding sexually communicated with a kid he did not reasonably believe to be above sixteen years old between June 1, 2022, and June 27, 2022.
Joshua Redding purposefully made a child—who did not reasonably think to be over 16 years old—search for an indecent image of herself on 27 June 2022 to get sexual enjoyment.
Based at Newbury Police Station, Detective Constable Claire Midwinter said: “I am happy Joshua Redding pleaded guilty to the offences and that he has been jailed as a result.
“Our battle against child sexual abuse never stops; I hope this conviction highlights not only our commitment to tackling these crimes but also to protect all children and tracking down anyone who seeks to harm them.”
