Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced today that the Rochester Pedophile, Kelvin Hunt, 48, of NY, was sentenced to 465 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Charles J. Siragusa for the production of child pornography following a prior conviction and for possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Nicholas M. Testani indicated that in March 1995, Hunt was convicted in Monroe County Court of First Degree Sexual Abuse and sentenced to a prison term of 2 to 6 years. On February 2, 2024, he unlawfully entered the residence of a 14-year-old juvenile victim in Rochester and committed forcible rape. Kelvin Hunt subsequently seized the juvenile victim’s cell phone and captured sexually graphic images of her. Following the creation of the pornographic photos, Kelvin Hunt compelled the juvenile victim to a different location, where he subsequently assaulted her again with force. On February 4, 2024, law officers apprehended Kelvin Hunt and executed a search warrant at his hotel room. Authorities confiscated a loaded semi-automatic pistol and around 71 grammes of heroin.
The sentencing concludes an investigation conducted by the Rochester Police Department, led by Chief David Smith; the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, directed by Sheriff Todd Baxter; the Federal Bureau of Investigation, overseen by Acting Special Agent-in-Charge Mark Grimm; and the United States Marshals Service, managed by Marshal Charles Salina.
