Kevin Wyeth Eastbourne Paedophile

A paedophile from Eastbourne, Kevin Wyeth, characterised as a ‘persistent’ sexual predator, has been incarcerated following the discovery of hundreds of sexually graphic photos of youngsters on his mobile phone by law enforcement investigators.

Kevin Wyeth, 37, currently homeless, was previously under a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) due to many sexual offences against children dating back to 2006.

In July 2022, Kevin Wyeth was granted release on licence after serving a portion of his prison sentence for violating a standing Sexual Harm Prevention Order by transmitting sexual communications to four minors.

On Monday, 13 March 2023, Sussex Police officers executed an unannounced inspection at a hotel near Eastbourne where Wyeth was residing.

Officers discovered a cell phone concealed beneath a loaf of bread adjacent to his bed, so once more violating his SHPO.

The phone had numerous explicit photographs of children as young as five, along with text communications with a youngster believed to be under 15 years old.

Kevin Wyeth was apprehended and then indicted on three counts of violating a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, producing Category C indecent photos of minors, and failing to reveal the key to protected information by not supplying the PIN for his mobile phone.

Kevin Wyeth admitted guilt to all charges at Chichester Crown Court on 29 August.

On Thursday, 12 October, at Lewes Crown Court, Kevin Wyeth was sentenced to 30 months of imprisonment, issued an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and will be placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register indefinitely.
