Khoshaal Ghafoori paedophile rapist sex offender London

Following Khoshaal Ghafoori’s, theLondon Rapist, attempt to rape a lone adolescent girl in an alleyway close to Teddington Memorial Hospital in Richmond, the “cowardly” man has been imprisoned.

Having exited a Route 281 bus outside the hospital, Khoshaal Ghafoori approached the 19-year-old at 1.30 am on October 11, 2018.

Before abruptly kissing the girl, 33-year-old Khoshaal Ghafoori tried chatting with her to get her interested in a conversation.

Fearful, the young woman drew away from him and waved down a side road. Undeterred, Khoshaal Ghafoori tracked her down, attacked her, and aimed for rape.

Reversing Khoshaal Ghafoori’s hold, the 19-year-old fled to a member of the public and reported what had just happened. Although the police were summoned, Ghafoori had left the scene already.

South West Command started a forensics search to track him down; Khoshaal Ghafoori, of no fixed residence, was arrested in a West London street on October 27 after officers noticed him.

October 28 saw him charged with attempted rape; he was remanded into custody pending Kingston Crown Court’s trial.

March 2019 saw his conviction for the attempted rape; he was sentenced on May 24 to nine years in jail.
