A Chelmsford man, Lee Bergstrom, has been charged with three offences following work by Essex Police officers investigating child sexual abuse. Officers from the Management of Sex Offenders and Violent Offenders (MOSOVO) team acted on information from the National Crime Agency and arrested a man.
Lee Bergstrom, 35, of Nipsells Chase, Mayland, is charged with attempting to cause or incite a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity, attempting to engage in sexual communications with a child and attempted breach of a sexual harm prevention order.
Lee Bergstrom appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates Court this morning (Friday November 1), and was remanded into custody. He will next appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on Friday November 29.
