Lee Salisbury, an Emmerdale television director and Paedophile from Bradford, engaged in attending a film school with minors, has been punished for sexual communication with a kid.
Lee Salisbury, 46, of Tong Street, confessed to participating in sexual conversations with a minor.
The offence occurred between March 29 and April 12 of this year.
Lee Salisbury successfully acquired the children’s phone numbers and messaged them personally following the conclusion of the film school. The discussions from Salisbury were of a sexualised kind concerning sexual behaviour.
His offending was then reported to the Bradford Online Child Abuse Investigation Team. Lee Salisbury was arrested, his house was searched, and electronic devices seized.
Lee Salisbury was later charged with the offence and remanded into custody.
At Bradford Crown Court on 22 July Lee Salisbury pleaded guilty to the charges.
Yesterday (18 September), the judge at Bradford Crown Court sentenced him to 12 months in prison but suspended him for 16 months. Lee Salisbury was ordered to sign on the sex offenders register for ten years and given a 5-year sexual harm prevention order, £2000 compensation to the victim and £1000 to pay for court costs.
Police Constable Scott Tyson of the Bradford Online Child Abuse Investigation team said:
“Lee Salisbury was in a position of trust, where children looked up to him; he took advantage of them.
“I would like to praise the victim for bravely reporting the crime to us.
“Bradford police take all reports of sexual offending exceptionally seriously, and any such offences are always thoroughly investigated by specialist safeguarding detectives.
“We continue to encourage anyone that believes they or a child they know has been the victim of an online sexual offences to come forward, no matter when the offences took place.”
