A 21-year-old Melverley Paedophile, Lewis Matley, discovered with numerous disturbing photographs of minors has received a community order.
Lewis Matley, from Melverley near Oswestry, was sentenced at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Monday, May 19, after having previously confessed to multiple crimes.
The 21-year-old, Lewis Matley, admitted guilt to three counts of producing indecent photos of children in categories A, B, and C; three counts of disseminating indecent images of children in categories A, B, and C; and one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image.
The majority of the crimes occurred between October 2021 and November 2022.
The court was informed that Lewis Matley’s criminal activities, which involved the possession of photos of children as young as one year old, were revealed by police following intelligence regarding accounts functioning on the Discord communication platform.
Danny Smith, the prosecutor, stated that the platform is primarily utilised by video gamers.
He stated that law enforcement was informed about two personas on Discord, one of which used the username ‘incestlover’ and had disseminated indecent photographs of minors.
