Paedophile Liam Perkins fortified himself in his bedroom at his parents’ residence and subsequently struck a police officer in the face.

The 30-year-old was apprehended for disseminating his abhorrent collection of child pornography to other offenders online.

During a raid on his residence in St Helens on March 18, 2020, police discovered that Liam Perkins had downloaded and disseminated the materials.

However, he was released pending investigation and created chaos at his family’s residence in St Helens during the early hours of January 2.

The paedophile father, Liam Perkins, currently residing on Meredith Street, Garston, subsequently vandalised his ex-girlfriend’s front door during another violent episode on February 1.

Liam Perkins confessed to three charges of downloading, three charges of distributing, and one charge of possessing indecent photographs of children, in addition to possessing extreme pornography, assaulting an emergency worker, resisting arrest, and committing criminal damage.

He was incarcerated for a duration of two years and one month.
