A serial Coatbridge rapist, Liam Sharpe, incarcerated for assaulting three women, has relinquished his intention to contest his conviction and sentence.
Liam Sharpe was sentenced to 13 years and 10 months in prison in February after being found guilty of perpetrating a campaign of cruelty, abuse, and rape against his previous partners.
All of the mothers courageously testified in court to ensure that Liam Sharpe, who was already serving a four-year prison sentence for domestic abuse convictions involving two of the women, was incarcerated for raping them.
In April, Liam Sharpe, 37, of Coatbridge, initiated an appeal for liberation by directing his legal team to contest his conviction and imprisonment.
Liam Sharpe was assigned a deadline of April 30 to submit documents defining the basis of his appeal.
It has since been classified as abandoned.
