Liam Stimpson Cardiff Rapist was imprisoned for raping a woman in Cardiff city centre Early on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, Liam Stimpson raped and viciously attacked the victim, according to CCTV and cell phone evidence.

From Llanrumney, Cardiff, Liam Stimpson denied four counts, including rape and grave bodily harm but was found guilty by a jury at Cardiff Crown Court on Thursday, May 30.

Liam Stimpson attacked the woman under the railway bridge separating Callaghan Square and St Mary Street while out commemorating his 24th birthday.

The attack went on even as she fled, yelling for assistance.

Two critical witnesses—a delivery man and a cleaner from a bar—intervened, and police were summoned.

Liam Stimpson was arrested on Caroline Street within half an hour of being contacted and has been in detention ever since.

Monday, June 3, Cardiff Crown Court condemned Liam Stimpson to fifteen years in jail.
