Three child abusers, Elliot Miller, Daniel McNulty-Doyle, and Daniel McNulty-Doyle have been indicted on accusations of child maltreatment at a private school in Wirral.

An inquiry was initiated following the BBC‘s airing of video footage captured by an undercover journalist at the Life School on 17 June.

Elliot Miller, 21, of Liscard, has been charged with common assault of an adult occurring between 20 March and 27 May 2024, a Section 5 public order offence on 4 April, two charges of assault by beating on 23 April, and common assault on 22 March.

Daniel McNulty-Doyle, 21 years, of Little Neston, has been charged with using threatening, abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress on 18 April.

Daniel McNulty-Doyle, 26 years, of Irby, has been charged with assault by beating on 23 April.

The allegations of sexual abuse are still being looked into and will be followed up by a specialist team.

Detective Inspector Peter Rexwinkel said, “We know this investigation has raised concern in the community, and – working alongside partners in the local authority and health bodies – support has been and will continue to be provided to the pupils and families affected.

“The Life School permanently closed after the alleged incidents came to light, and enquiries into the incidents continue.

“An independent Child Safeguarding Practice Review will take place, and referrals are being made to professional bodies to safeguard people in future.”
