A 57-year-old sex offender, Lloyd Weekes London Paedophile, has been incarcerated for sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl on a bus in Haringey.
Lloyd Weekes has been incarcerated for two years after inappropriately touching a girl on a crowded W3 bus while she was accompanied by a friend on February 26 of the previous year.
The police stated that he exploited the little girl’s susceptibility.
The courageous girl approached Lloyd Weekes, who lacks a permanent residence, after she perceived him caressing her, thereafter reporting him to the authorities.
Lloyd Weekes was recognised following recognition by a Detective Constable in the Metropolitan Police after officers were shown CCTV footage of him.
It was revealed that he had previously perpetrated analogous acts on the Tube.
Lloyd Weekes was apprehended and charged before to entering a guilty plea for sexual assault at Wood Green Crown Court on February 8.
The judge mandated his registration on the sex offender list for a duration of 10 years and issued a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
PC Leanne Bridgeman said: “Lloyd Weekes took advantage of the victim’s vulnerability in committing this appalling assault.
“I would like to commend the victim in this case for her bravery in coming forward to report the incident to police and for giving evidence.
“The Roads and Transport Policing Command are committed in working in Partnership with Transport for London in making the bus network system in London safer.
“The Met will not tolerate anyone committing sexual offences on the bus and train network and are committed to catching offenders.”
