Lukasz Grzywna Crediton Paedophile

A Paedophile from Crediton, Lukasz Grzywna, has been sentenced to over nine years in prison after admitting to many sexual offences and an additional crime.

Lukasz Grzywna, 30, of Upton Hellions, Crediton, had already confessed to 13 sexual offences and one drug-related offence during his appearance at Exeter Crown Court on Monday, November 11.

Lukasz Grzywna admitted guilt to five counts of voyeurism, five counts of attempting to view an individual in a private act, sexual assault, knowingly trespassing with the goal to conduct a sexual act, and possessing an illicit image of a minor.

He additionally admitted guilt to attempting to distribute a class B narcotic.

The court was informed that Lukasz Grzywna was apprehended in the early hours of Sunday, 14 July, in Crediton, following the sighting of a man exiting a child’s bedroom after being startled by an individual in the residence.

He was then charged with wilfully trespassing on a property with the intent to commit a sexual act.

Investigators discovered evidence on his phone, including films pertaining to sexual assault and voyeurism, as well as messages regarding drug distribution, which resulted in an additional charge being filed.

He received a sentence of nine years and eight months at Exeter Crown Court on Monday, April 14. He will further serve three years on an extended licence and must register on the Sex Offenders’ Register for life. He was subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order upon his discharge.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Becky Carvell said: “We welcome the sentence passed down today and my thoughts, as they have been throughout the investigation and court process, are with those affected by Lukasz Lukasz Grzywna’s actions.

The victims and their families have shown great courage in supporting this prosecution.

“We would encourage anyone who has been subject to similar behaviour to report it. You will be listened to, and you will be believed.”
