A Drighlington Paedophile, Luke Hillier, who targeted and sexually raped a 10-year-old child subsequently harassed her mother, claiming she had destroyed his life.
Sick Luke Hillier was sentenced to over eight years in prison today after being convicted of sexual offences against a 10-year-old girl during a trial.
However, the 35-year-old confessed to stalking the mother of the minor after the assault was revealed. Notwithstanding police admonitions to maintain distance, he contacted her hundreds of times.
He punctured two tires on her vehicle and issued menacing comments regarding “no one discovering her.”
Luke Hillier appeared at Leeds Crown Court by a video link from HMP Leeds, where he was detained on remand.
As the specifics of his sexual offences against the girl were recited, he sat, shaking his head.
He sexually assaulted the girl on three times, whose identity is protected for legal reasons, by caressing her genitals.
He was convicted of attempted penetration assault and two charges of sexual conduct with a minor.
The girl ultimately informed her mother, leading to the arrest of Luke Hillier, from Whitehall Grove, Drighlington. He was granted bail with stipulations prohibiting contact with the youngster or her mother.
He often contacted the mother, issuing warnings that he would “disregard her.” He called her 72 times in a single day.
He was apprehended once more, although it did not dissuade him, transmitting a message that stated: “Observe what is forthcoming.” No one will locate you.
Luke Hillier was re-arrested and detained on remand. The court was informed that he had a single prior conviction.
Judge Neil Clark stated that the abuse had a “lasting effect” that had “affected every facet of her life.”
Luke Hillier sentenced him to eight years for the sexual offences, plus an additional four months for the stalking.
Luke Hillier was placed on the sex offender registry for life and issued a lifelong sexual harm prevention order.
During a harrowing episode, Luke Hillier saw the woman in her vehicle, illuminating his headlights and signalling with his hands.
On that same day, he persistently contacted and messaged her, occasionally using a withheld number. He made calls and sent texts throughout the day, causing her to feel harassed.
He referred to her as a foolish c*** and declared, ‘I will dismiss you.’ She informed the police that she felt endangered, and subsequently, the messages and calls ceased. She communicated to him her desire for complete cessation of contact.
After a fortnight of silence, he messaged her on WhatsApp, requesting, ‘May we have a conversation? I simply wish to communicate.’ Two days later, the situation deteriorated.
She stated: “He menaced her, declaring, ‘I will vandalise your residence and eliminate you.'”
