Lynsey Amanda Newell, a deviant Lurgan female paedophile, has been placed on stringent bail following her court appearance about alleged child sexual offences.

Initially, reporting limitations prohibiting the publishing of the woman’s identify were placed; however, they have already been lifted.

Lynsey Amanda Newell, from Cottage Hill, Lurgan, is facing five charges related to the alleged sexual assault of a minor.

Lynsey Amanda Newell, aged 46, is additionally charged with engaging in sexual communication with the youngster for her personal enjoyment and attempting to provoke sexual communication.

It is ultimately claimed that she created and possessed an indecent image of a minor.

While no details surrounding the circumstances were disclosed, offending is alleged to have occurred on dates between August 1, 2023 and March 19 of this year.

A police officer aware of the facts of the case told Craigavon Magistrates’ Court the charges could be connected,

District Judge Michael Ranaghan set bail at £300 and ordered Lynsey Amanda Newell to have no contact by any means with the child.

Lynsey Amanda Newell is also to have no unsupervised contact with anyone aged under 18 and must abide by all safety plans implemented by Social Services.

The case will return to court on January 15.

It remains unclear why the reporting restriction was granted as the terms were not provided, however, it was later removed when queried by Press without the requirement for challenge.
