A man without a permanent residence, linked to Crawley, has been sentenced to imprisonment for indecent exposure and sexual assault.
Maqsood Ali, 37, appeared at Brighton magistrates yesterday, two days after indecently exposing himself to two girls, aged 14 and 15, and sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl on Eastbourne seafront.
He received a sentence of 20 weeks for each occurrence, to be served consecutively.
District of Columbia Tod Stewart stated: “Officers responded promptly and apprehended him within hours of the offenses.” He has been swiftly brought to justice.
