A North Shields Paedophile, Mark Hansen, who surreptitiously filmed young girls disrobing at a holiday park has been incarcerated. Mark Hansen preyed upon two victims at the Northumberland holiday facility, concealing himself in the darkness and recording one naive girl through a crevice in the curtains.
A court reviewed recordings of several females discovered on his phone, which was confiscated by police for the downloading of indecent photos of youngsters. Mark Hansen, 45, of Denton Avenue, North Shields, who confessed to voyeurism and offences involving obscene pictures, has been incarcerated at Newcastle Crown Court.
In September 2022, law enforcement officials visited his residence based on gathered intelligence and confiscated his mobile device. They discovered numerous indecent photographs acquired from the internet over a seven-year span, featuring victims aged four to early teens.
Mark Hansen was discovered to have recorded multiple unsuspecting young females. A victim was recorded with a concealed camera while disrobing.
Another unidentified victim was filmed by Mark Hansen at the Haven holiday park in Berwick. Prosecutor Kevin Wardlaw said: “He used the iPhone to covertly record an unidentified female aged between 12 and 14 while she was undressing. The recording was made from outside a window, through a gap in partially closed curtains. It is apparent she had no knowledge she was being observed or filmed.
Mark Hansen, 44, who has no previous convictions, pleaded guilty to three offences of making indecent images, two of taking indecent images of three of voyeurism. He was jailed for 18 months and told he must sign the sex offenders register and be subject to a sexual harm prevention order for ten years.
