Mark Preedy Banbury Paedophile

A Banbury Paedophile, Mark Preedy, has been incarcerated for multiple past child sexual offences that transpired between 1994 and 1997 in Bicester.

On Monday, July 7, a jury unanimously convicted Mark Preedy, 62, of Mascord Road, Banbury, of six acts of indecent assault, two counts of rape, and two counts of attempted rape, after a six-day trial at Oxford Crown Court. He attended the same court today (18/7) when he received a total term of 23 years in jail, an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and a victim fee.

Mark Preedy established a friendship with the initial victim, who was twelve years old at the time, and consistently intoxicated her before perpetrating multiple sexual assaults. During the preliminary inquiry, a second victim was identified. The second victim was thirteen years old during the offences and was provided with alcohol to intoxicate her before Mark Preedy sexually abused and raped her.
