Mark Rebustes Fife Paedophile
Mark Rebustes Fife Paedophile

A Fife paedophile nurse, Mark Rebustes, attributed his indecently caressing a young child in a video to Filipino customs.

Mark Rebustes was apprehended with numerous photographs and data depicting child abuse on a laptop he transported to Fife from the Philippines.

During his trial, the 40-year-old asserted that the lewd video in which he appeared was customary in his country of origin.

A jury dismissed his evidence and, by a majority judgement, convicted him of producing or allowing the creation of indecent photos of children at his residence in Cupar.

The unemployed Mark Rebustes, presently suspended by the Nursing and Midwifery Council, was unanimously found guilty of possessing indecent photographs.

Before the continuation of bail, Mark Rebustes submitted the paperwork from the dock and was instructed not to apply for a new passport in the interim.

He is required to report to Dundee’s police headquarters every Friday between 12 PM and 5 PM.

Mark Rebustes was placed on the sex offenders register on a provisional basis.
