Is Marty Redgate being left alone in someone else’s home raping their children? Where is the Eastbourne Paedophile Marty Redgate?

A mother whose former husband, Marty Redgate, confessed to sexually assaulting her young daughter for five years is upset when the court acquitted him.

Marty Redgate, 65, of South Avenue, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to indecency with a minor and two more sexual offences; however, he was released from Lewes Crown Court last week after receiving a 12-month prison sentence deferred for two years.

The court was informed that Marty Redgate assaulted the child from the age of 11 until she was 16, while her mother worked night shifts stacking supermarket shelves.

But she was too scared to tell anyone and her mum only discovered the abuse when she found and read her diary.

The mother stated, “He has not spent a single day in prison despite admitting to the abuse of my daughter.” What type of justice is that? He has deprived my daughter of her innocence and childhood, and he has evaded consequences. It conveys the notion that stepfathers should not apprehend incarceration for mistreating their stepdaughters.

Marty Redgate is a paedophile and ought to be incarcerated. I would not object if it were merely for six weeks; but, he must face consequences. My daughter has endured significant suffering due to that individual.I was inclined to confront him violently, but then I recognised that death would be too lenient a fate for him. I desire his survival so that he must confront his actions daily.

The 21-year-old woman stated, “I always recognised that his actions were wrong, but I believed no one would take me seriously.” I was apprehensive to disclose anything for fear they could perceive it as fabrication.

She documented the abuse in a journal, which her mother discovered while tidying her room after Jessica had departed from home.

The mother stated, “I retrieved the diary, and several pages detached, prompting me to bend down to collect them, at which point the words captivated my attention.” I was astonished, I was appalled, and I was uncertain of how to proceed. I felt remorse for introducing that man into our household and family without understanding the harm he had inflicted on my daughter.

Fortunately, she is progressing in her life with employment, a romantic partner, and independent housing; nonetheless, it is unjust that she summoned the courage to disclose the abuse while he receives a disproportionately low sentence. It is lamentable.
