A Pornhub Metropolitan Police officer who appeared on ‘numerous’ adult websites in exchange for money has left in disgrace. The male officer, whose identity has been protected, is said to have offered paid sex shows in exchange for tokens which can be withdrawn for money, and allegedly received cash for offering his services on the livestreams, a misconduct panel heard.
After a hearing held in March, the allegations were found proven to the level of gross misconduct and the former officer would have been dismissed without notice had he not already resigned. Assistant Commissioner Rachel Williams also ruled the officer will be barred from policing in the future.
A statement from Scotland Yard said: “Former Officer A, whilst a serving officer, has appeared active on numerous pornographic live streaming websites in which he has offered to perform sex acts in exchange for tokens which can be withdrawn for money. Furthermore, it is alleged that former Officer A has received financial reward for offering his services on live streaming websites.
“The Panel led by Chair T/Assistant Commissioner Rachel Williams found the allegations proven. Furthermore, the Panel found former Officer A had breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Discreditable Conduct and Duties and Responsibilities, and that these breaches amounted to Gross Misconduct.”
The case is likely to bring further embarrassment to the force, which has seen a series of headlines over the racy behaviour of some of its officers.
