A Bishopstoke Paedophile Michael Littlefield from Hampshire has received a 14-year prison sentence after being found guilty of many child sex offences in Eastleigh and Hedge End.
Michael Littlefield, 39, of Camborne Close, Bishopstoke, was previously convicted after a five-day trial at Southampton Crown Court in April.
He was found guilty of eight charges of sexual assault against a child under the age of 13, two counts of participating in sexual behaviour in the presence of a child, one count of penetrating a child under 13, and one crime of instigating or persuading a child under 13 to participate in sexual conduct.
The jury acquitted Michael Littlefield on one charge of raping a child under 13 and one charge of forcing or persuading a minor under 13 to engage in sexual behaviour.
The court was informed that Michael Littlefield sexually assaulted three children on numerous occasions over a six-year span from 2014 to 2020 in the Eastleigh and Hedge End regions.
At Winchester Crown Court, he was sentenced to a total of 14 years in prison and will be required to spend four years on licence upon his release.
He was also subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Kimberly Duncan, of Hampshire Constabulary’s Child Abuse Investigation Team, stated: I must acknowledge the remarkable courage of all three victims in coming forward and exposing the abuse perpetrated by Michael Littlefield.
Each child demonstrated a maturity surpassing their age in expressing the offences perpetrated upon them.
The victims were little youngsters when Michael Littlefield chose to strip them of their innocence; they will endure this trauma for the remainder of their life, while a perilous individual is now incarcerated.
We anticipate that the sentencing will afford the victims a sense of closure and reassurance that he can no longer inflict damage upon them.
Hampshire Constabulary is dedicated to assisting survivors of rape and sexual assault, regardless of the circumstances, and will use every effort to find perpetrators and bring them to justice.
