Is Michael Manion Hangleton Paedophile living near you? He is out in the community again. Following a jury trial, a 22-year-old man from Hove, now 28, was imprisoned for four charges of rape.
Judge David Rennie condemned Michael Manion of Nutley Close, Hangleton, to seven years in Brighton Crown Court today ( Monday, 24 April).
Three of the allegations concerned a nine-year-old girl. Michael Manion was found guilty by a jury of rape of her between dates between July 2009 and August 2010 while he was either 14 or 15 years old.
Just over two months after turning sixteen, Michael Manion was convicted guilty at a previous trial of a fourth offence on Friday, 19 November 2010. As she slept, he sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl.
His access to young women and girls was severely restricted by a Sexual Harm Prevention Order issued indefinitely. He will be a lifelong registered sex offender.
