After abusing two young girls and paying approximately £5,000 for adults to mistreat other children worldwide, Nathan Lovell Wisbech Paedophile has been imprisoned for fifteen years.

Between January 2021 and June last year, 33-year-old Nathan Lovell sexually assaulted the Wisbech girls.

Officers found obscene photographs of children on his phone, including 1226 Category C images or movies, 18 Category B images or videos and 14 Category A – the most severe when they detained him.

Officers also found screen recordings showing Nathan Lovell participating in online chats guiding and funding the abuse of youngsters by other adults.

One of the records, Nathan Lovell, can be seen on the front-facing camera. In another of the exchanges, between February and April last year, he promised an adult about mistreating a small child a puppy as a pay-off.

Further investigations by police into social networking firms turned up more cases of Nathan Lovell purchasing online child sex abuse. He spent roughly £4,800 in all in this manner.

Nathan Lovell, of Opportune Road, Wisbech, was charged with eighteen counts overall, including eleven counts of planning or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a child under thirteen; four counts of sexually assaulting a child under thirteen by touching; three counts of creating indecent photos or recordings of children.

At his first court hearing, he entered a guilty plea to the three indecency picture charges; he denied the others.

On all 15 other allegations, though, jurors declared him guilty by unanimous decision following an eight-day trial at Cambridge Crown Court in December.

Monday, February 19, Lovell was sentenced in the same court; he received a total term of 15 years, with four years on license.

Judge Mark Bishop said Nathan Lovell presented a “significant risk” to children and that his future actions were unpredictable.

Along with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) for the same period to track any future offending, a restraining order forbidding Nathan Lovell from contacting the two sexual assault victims was also issued 25 years ago. He has to sign up for the Sex Offenders Register.
