Found guilty of a string of horrifying child sex assaults, a “dangerous and predatory” child molester, Nicholas Burgess Wem Paedophile, has been imprisoned.

Following a trial at Shrewsbury Crown Court last month, a jury found 52-year-old Nicholas Burgess guilty of the offences.

Nicholas Burgess, of no fixed address but formerly of New Street, Wem, was found guilty of five counts of sexually abusing a minor — and one count of encouraging a child into sexual conduct.

The charges in Shifnal all pertain to offences there.

Nicholas Burgess’ abuse resulted in a seven-year jail sentence from Judge Peter Barrie. Furthermore, subject to a sexual harm prevention order will be him.
