Following a trial, an alleged Banbury Sex Offender Oliver Joy was found guilty of sexually abusing an Oxford lady and will be jailed.
Charged with one count of sexual assault on a female, Oliver Joy, of George Street, Banbury, was on trial Wednesday, August 7, at Oxford Magistrates’ Court.
It was reported that on February 21, this year, in Oxford, the 43-year-old sexually attacked a woman. Legal grounds exclude the complainant from being named.
His charges were under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
Oliver Joy was found guilty; his case was then deferred for a sentencing hearing.
He is scheduled to return to the same court on October 1 for his punishment. He might get fined or a prison term.
