A guy, Paedophile Paul Lewis, from Brecon has been incarcerated after being convicted of many child sexual offences.
Paul Lewis, a 72-year-old from Brecon, has been convicted of two charges of rape, five acts of indecent assault, and one crime of gross indecency involving a child.
On Friday, February 14, 2025, he was sentenced to 15 years in jail at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court and subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) prohibiting contact with any child under the age of 16. He will be permanently included on the sexual offenders register.
Detective Constable Nicholas Murray stated:
“Paul Lewis is a dangerous individual who preyed upon his child victim with absolutely no regard for her wellbeing.
“I commend the bravery of the victim in coming forward to report his actions, which was instrumental in helping bring him to justice.
“I hope this sentence brings some comfort to the victim and their family, all of whom have been through a harrowing ordeal.”
